The complainant also alleged “carelessness” on the part of the state government and said he was “mentally tired” and hence not willing to take the complaints forward.

Actor says government is careless

“I would like to tell everyone that I have suffered more than I can bear due to the state’s carelessness and lack of protection for a woman who was exposed in this way. I am mentally exhausted. They neither help nor protect the woman.

“That’s why I don’t want to follow the cases. It’s not because I’ve compromised with anyone,” he told reporters.

He claimed to have filed a criminal complaint in a case POCSO The government did nothing to protect him in the case filed following his complaints against actors including Maniyanpilla Raju and Idavela Babu.

“I am innocent. I want justice. I want the POCSO case against me to be investigated comprehensively and quickly. If I commit suicide, the government will be responsible,” he said.

Later in the day, he reiterated in a Facebook post what he had told reporters in the morning.

“Today, due to lack of justice in my POCSO case, I plan to take the difficult decision to cancel all cases, including those against the MLA,” the actress wrote in her social media post. he said.

“Despite all my requests, the police were unable to conduct a thorough investigation, leaving me feeling helpless and betrayed.”

He also claimed he was the target of “relentless social bullying”, which took a “devastating toll” on his mental health, due to malicious rumors labeling him as a sex mafia’s go-between.

“I stand tall and refuse to be silenced. My demand is clear: Solve the POCSO case first, then I will proceed with other cases. Justice must be done. I urge the authorities to take immediate action by ensuring that they do not encounter anyone else suffering like me. POCSO Act case

Muvattupuzha police had registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) against the actress following a complaint from her relative.

According to police, the incident occurred in 2014. The complainant alleged that she was a minor at the time of the incident and that the actor was running a sex racket. The woman alleged that the actor was running a sex racket and took her to Chennai for a film audition, where she was offered sexual favors in front of many people.

The actor vehemently denied the allegations and claimed that his female relative owed him some money, and these allegations were to distract attention from his complaint against famous actors.

The actress’s allegations against film industry professionals came following the release of the Justice Hema Committee report, which revealed incidents of harassment and exploitation of women in the Malayalam film industry and led to calls for action against the culprits.

The Justice Hema Committee was formed by the Kerala government following the actress assault case in 2017.

The entire report was submitted to the Kerala High Court, which directed it to be handed over to the special investigation team (SIT) constituted to investigate complaints of sexual abuse in the film industry.

Later, 26 FIRs were registered by the SIT in connection with the statements made in the report.
