Products of Elton John, Marilyn Monroe and Paul McCartney are on sale

A selection of “glamorous” pop culture items, including a blouse belonging to actress Marilyn Monroe, are under pressure.

Other items include shoes worn by Elton John, a guitar signed by Paul McCartney, and an original poster of the punk band Sex Pistols.

The team at John Rolfe Auctions in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, said the Art and Anarchy auction collection of 1,116 items was something they had dreamed of doing “forever”.

Manager John Rolf said the place where Miss Monroe bought her blouse was “like Madame Tussauds on acid.”
