Shiv Sena leader claims the day will come when Uddhav will flee the country with his family

Shiv Sena leader Ramdas Kadam on Thursday (November 28) claimed that a day will come when Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray will flee the country with his family in the middle of the night.

Speaking to reporters in Shirdi, Kadam accused the opposition of blaming Electronic Voting Machines for the grind in the November 20 Maharashtra assembly elections. He added that the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi blames the EVMs when they do poorly in the polls.

He alleged that the opposition was blaming EVMs and trying to mislead Maharashtra.

When asked about a section of Shiv Sena UBT leaders demanding that the party go it alone in the local elections, Kadam said, “There will come a day when Uddhav Thackeray will flee the country at 2 am.” Kadam also accused Thackeray of betraying the ideals of his father and Shiv Sena founder late Bal Thackeray.

In the Maharashtra assembly polls, the BJP won 132 seats, Shiv Sena (57) and NCP (41). The opposition suffered a crippling defeat with Shiv Sena UBT winning 20 seats, Congress 16 and NCP SP 10 seats.
