Clevedon man arrested on drug charges

A Clevedon man has been detained awaiting trial on drug charges.

Ronald Burton, 36, of Elton Road, Clevedon, appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 27, and was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A (Cocaine) and Class B (Cannabis) drugs.

Burton was remanded to appear at Bristol Crown Court on January 6, 2025.

The charges follow the execution of a warrant at a property in Yeolands Drive, Clevedon, on Tuesday, November 26, where an arrest was made and Class A and Class B drugs were seized, along with mobile phones.
