Man accused of alleged assault and two men arrested for drug offenses after armed police raid Elgin property

Three people have been arrested after armed police raided a property in Moray.

Officers executed a search warrant at a premises in the Kingsmills area of ​​Elgin at around 6.45pm on Thursday.

A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the attack. A report is expected to be submitted to the Financial Prosecutor’s Office.

A man and a woman, both aged 26, were arrested in connection with drug offences. The couple was released pending further investigation.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 6.45pm on Thursday 28 November, officers executed a search warrant at a premises in Kingsmills, Elgin.

“A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the attack. These will be reported to the Financial Prosecutor’s Office.

“A 26-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with drug offences. “They were released pending further investigation.”
