Woman walking in blood in Parkland arrested for murder

PIERCE COUNTY, Washington — A 52-year-old Parkland woman was arrested late Wednesday night for the murder of her husband, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD).

Deputies responded to reports of a woman walking covered in blood in the 10200 block of Ainsworth Avenue South at 11:30 p.m.

A person who called 911 said the woman was walking down the road asking for help.

After speaking with the woman, deputies found the body of a 62-year-old man outside her home.

“Deputies were told the woman stabbed her husband,” PCSD said.

Deputies arrested the woman and she was booked into the Pierce County Jail on a charge of second-degree murder.

PCSD said detectives and forensic experts were called to investigate the scene.
