30-year-old young man arrested for theft

SIOUX FALLS SD (KELO) — Around 8 p.m. Wednesday night, authorities responded to a person suffering from a gunshot wound at a residence near Capital Avenue and Taylor Street.

Judah Petersen, 30, of Brandon, went to the residence and an incident occurred that resulted in gunshot wounds. Petersen was arrested for simple assault, stalking and burglary. Petersen was taken to the hospital for his injuries.

Petersen did not live at the home and had been shot twice, according to Sgt. Travis Olsen.
