Floyd County man wanted on criminal charges deemed danger to himself, others

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities in Floyd County are asking the public to be wary of a man wanted for several crimes.

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 34-year-old Herbert Shiflett. He is wanted on charges of aggravated battery, 2nd degree property damage, simple battery and trespassing.

According to authorities, Shiflett must be considered a danger to himself and others.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately. Do not approach him.
