1 person killed in auto collision in east valley

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Roads around East Twain Boulevard and South Nellis Boulevard are closed as police investigate a fatal automobile-pedestrian collision.

Metro police responded around 7:26 p.m. and say the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking along Nellis Boulevard south of Twain.

Police said disability was not a factor for the driver.

The injured pedestrian was taken to the hospital and died.

The road will be closed to traffic until police complete their investigation.
