Case 45: Mrs O and her six children lost almost all their belongings in the floods earlier this year and moved into an apartment; But now they face eviction and the prospect of living in their cars with nowhere else to go. Five of their six children have been diagnosed with ADHD and behavioral disorders that require special care and support. Mrs. O had to quit her job because she had no one to care for her children and faced these tremendous struggles alone. Meanwhile, their children are left without the basic services and resources they need due to their family’s difficult financial situation and lack of outside support.

Case 46: Ms. J is a single mother of 9 children and a survivor of domestic violence. Her ex-husband is not helping financially with the children and she is struggling. Mrs. J works as hard as she can to pay the bills, but cannot afford the necessities of the children and the house. He wants a better life for his family and is doing what he can, but he needs some help this holiday season.

Case 47: Ms. P was recently in an accident that destroyed her car, so she had to purchase another vehicle for her family of seven children. He works full time but can’t keep up with the bills and has to spend more money to pay off the wrecked car. Ms. P and her family would greatly appreciate assistance with home repairs, a baby fence, twin beds, bedding, and gift cards for groceries.

Case 48: Ms. K and her family have experienced so much loss this year. His brother was robbed and murdered while visiting him in town over the summer. He had to pay for her funeral, which meant he was behind on some of his bills. He also lost two aunts and two uncles in 2024. One in four of their children lives with mental illness and ADHD. Ms. K also faced her own health challenges. He also suffers financially due to unpaid alimony debts most of the time. The family needs winter clothes and shoes, and the kids will be thrilled with the toys, books, games and puzzles.
