And the stakes couldn’t be higher as the audience’s favorite contestant of the night will win a whopping £10,000… while the celebrity who loses will have to take part in the disastrous finale.

The show’s packed trailer is filled with climbing, biking, fire, diggers, cactus licking and even a goat.

One contestant bets he can use his digger to set off three fireworks… while riding the wheel and admitting that being on the show felt like ‘being on the set of a big movie in Hollywood’.

Another claims he can deliver four takeaways on my bike faster than a delivery drone, while a few others are betting they can name any of their goats just by looking at one part of their body.

Speaking about being part of the show, Holly enthused: ‘I remember watching You Bet!’ when I was a kid and I loved it. It was like real Saturday night television for me.

‘I remember being glued to the television as I watched a digger pick up 6 delicate eggs with his giant jaws and place them into the ovaries within a minute.

‘I remember looking at my father who was as fascinated as I was. I think the show is suitable for audiences of all ages and is a real family watch.’

When asked what his most memorable moment during filming was, he joked: ‘The highlight for me was a cute couple who were able to identify different types of cacti by licking them with their eyes closed!

‘Yes… just using their language, they had to identify many different types of cacti to overcome this challenge. A real treat in every respect.’

At the end of each fun-filled episode, the losing celebrity is forced to perform with the cast of a huge West End musical that has not been fully rehearsed.

Holly is working with Stephen Mulhern once again after the pair presented Dancing On Ice together earlier this year.

Stephen has filled his boots for the ITV skating competition after his former co-star Phillip Schofield abandoned all ITV commitments following an affair scandal with a younger male colleague.

Talking about working with him again, he said: ‘It’s great to work with Stephen. We started working together when I was in my twenties and we’ve known each other for a very long time.

‘We had so much fun filming this show together, we couldn’t stop playing together and competing with each other.’

Meanwhile, Stephen added: ‘Holly and I love working together and had so much fun on the show! But some of the challenges were truly nail-biting and we were literally holding on to each other.’

He explained: ‘In one challenge the contestant attempts to scale the outside of a multi-storey car park to get to the top faster than a professional driver could.

‘The climber slipped, the rider almost hit the poles, we almost couldn’t watch, so I’m so glad we supported each other.’

I bet! It was first broadcast on ITV for 10 series in the 1980s and 1990s. Originally hosted by the great Sir Bruce Forsyth and later Matthew Kelly, it was one of Saturday night TV’s best-loved shows and now it’s returning.

Stephen explained: ‘When I was asked if there was a show I could bring back, I always said I bet!

‘Now, younger viewers who have never seen the series before have a chance to enjoy it, while older viewers reminisce and also see the series updated.’
