Milan man arrested in father’s death, sheriff’s office says

MILAN, Texas (KBTX) -A Milan man was arrested and charged with murdering his father late Tuesday night.

Milam County deputies were called to a home on County Road 374 in Milan around 10 p.m., where they found 68-year-old Michael Donaldson Sr. dead in the living room. After the investigation, it was determined that he was killed, but no information was given about how the death occurred or the cause.

Deputies arrested his son, Michael Donaldson Jr., who is now charged with murder, according to a press release from the Milam County Sheriff’s Office. He is in the Milam County Jail on a $950,000 bond.

Authorities said no one else was injured and the family has been notified.
