Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s official car and five vehicles in his convoy were damaged in a road accident in Vamanapuram on Monday evening.

The incident occurred when a scooter suddenly turned and entered the path of the convoy from the side road.

The convoy’s pilot vehicle suddenly braked to prevent five vehicles, including Vijayan’s vehicle, from colliding, causing a chain reaction.
