Outlander actor Greggory Odjig accused of raping woman

He said he later woke up hearing shouts and screams. Mr Odjig and Mr Gould were arguing in the room and Mr Odjig was wearing a top and boxers. He was wearing his trousers, but the sports leggings he was wearing were in a suitcase.

He said: “Gregg and Glenn were about 12 meters away from me. The shouting continued and was very heated. Gregg was punching Glenn.”

He said he got between the two men, at which point he hit Odjig “right in the head.”

He said someone told him he needed to go to the apartment of another member of the Canadian group, to whom police were called. He was taken to a police station, then to the hospital for a CT scan and finally to a clinic where samples were taken.

He admitted that in his statement to the police he said that what he drank was not one and a half glasses but a bottle of cava.

Mr Odjig’s lawyer, Donald Findlay KC, said Mr Odjig accidentally punched him in the head when something was going on between the two men. He said another witness’s statement said so.

The woman replied: “I don’t agree with what you say.”

The hearing before Judge Lady Poole will continue on Tuesday with Mr Findlay’s alleged victim cross-examined.
