Stalker 2: Patch 1.0.1 Fixes 650 Bugs and Game Errors

Bug fixes for Über 650 Stalker 2

AI fixes:

  • Fixed groups of NPCs getting stuck and dying near the Sanctuary during Active Emission.
  • Fixed an issue where Burer could knock any quest item out of the player’s hand.
  • Added missing sound effects for Burer’s ‘Telekinesis’ ability.
  • Fixed issues with NPCs occasionally getting stuck and not being able to reach the quest location. This may have resulted in not being able to interact with the NPC or proceed to the next quest phase due to the quest NPC’s idle behavior.
  • Fixed issues with performance drops/potential out-of-memory crashes in NPC-populated hubs and locations during long gameplay sessions.
  • Fixed the issue where NPCs would move to A position or start flying after death.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs could not track whether a target in cover was protected from shots, causing them to fire into cover.
  • And more than 20 different problems related to artificial intelligence.

Optimization fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with invisible NPC/Mutants appearing in the FOV when the player is picking up binoculars.
  • Fixed fire visual effects not rendering at certain camera angles.
  • We also fixed nearly 100 different crashes, including possible memory leaks and EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION issues.

Audio and Audio fixes:

  • Fixed the issue where battle music would still play when the battle ended.
  • And 7 other minor audio and sound bugs.

Balance adjustments:

  • Weapon and armor repair cost decreased.
  • Significant increase in the cost of works (more income from sales).
  • Increased reward money for most missions from 2 to 3.
  • Rookie difficulty armor and weapon buffs.
  • Moderately reduced mutant damage on Rookie difficulty (more mutant health balance changes in the Battle Balance section).
  • On Rookie difficulty, damage to the player’s weapon is reduced by 23 percent.
  • Armor durability increased by 12.5 percent.
  • Added a silencer attachment for PTM to a specific cache in the Small Area.
  • Selling prices for Exoskeletons have been fixed; They are now more expensive to sell.
  • The selling price of upgraded weapons has been corrected.
  • Hercules consumable rebalanced: Player speed debuff removed; effect parameters increased (more weight can now be carried by the player after consuming).
  • Some additional minor bug fixes.

Balance of War:

  • Reduced the weight of some quest items (including the weight of scanners)
  • Bloodsucker’s damage has been slightly rebalanced.
  • Bloodsucker’s attack protection rating has been reduced (more damage from weapons).
  • Boodsucker’s HP regen outside of battle has been reduced.
  • Controller HP moderately reduced.
  • Burer HP moderately reduced.
  • Boar’s HP moderately reduced.
  • Meat HP moderately reduced.
  • Damage the Pig takes from headshots has been changed to 100% of body damage.
  • Increased the damage dealt to the Pig from shots to the limbs.
  • Increased damage to Flesh from shots fired at limbs.
  • The melee range of the weapon has been significantly increased.
  • Blade melee range slightly increased.

Gamepad Input:

  • Gamepad dead zones increased

Characters:

  • Fixed eyes and teeth on NPC models.
  • Made some minor adjustments to NPC models and animations.

Cutscenes:

  • Added missing images to TV screens in the final cutscene.
  • Fixed an issue with the deer animation in the opening cutscene.
  • And another 20 different errors in cutscenes.

Game Settings and Menus:

  • Adjusted unreadable text at the bottom of the Shader Compilation screen.
  • Fixed the issue where the ‘Nvidia Reflex Low Latency’ option was not saved on subsequent launches of the game.
  • And 10 more minor problems.

Interactive Objects:

  • Fixed physics issues with destructible and moving objects, including those floating in the air.
  • Fixed the prompt to interact with the glass doors in SIRCAA’s inner garden causing a passage blocker.
  • Fixed missing interior doors in the X-11 laboratory elevator.
  • And smaller mistakes.

Main and Side Quests:

Resolved numerous mission blockers and bugs encountered under certain conditions. Important fixes include:

  • Fixed missing interaction with dead Blind dogs in the Nightingale Hunt quest.
  • Fixed unfinishable objectives in the Seek and You Will Find mission.
  • Fixed several issues in the There and Again quest, including the artifact not being found.
  • Resolved the dialogue loop with Zotov during the quest A Needle in the Haystack.
  • Fixed progress blockers in the Answers Come at a Price quest, including issues with bandits after an emission and the Heavy Key item missing.
  • Fixed quest markers for NPC locations in the Hot on the Trail quest.
  • Fixed issues with the door in the In Search of a Guide quest and The Side Hustle quest.
  • Fixed the issue where the cutscene would not start during the mission Just Like the Good Old Days.
  • Fixed the issue where Lodochka would disappear from Pretty’s Camp during the mission Just Like the Good Old Days.
  • Just Like the Good Old Days, fixed the issue where Lodochka would act aggressive after bringing the Emitter.
  • It is now possible to turn off the electricity in a flooded area during the To the Last Drop of Blood mission.
  • Fixed many issues in the On the Edge quest, including idle NPCs, stuck doors, and Monolith attack progression.
  • Fixed progression blockers in the A Minor Incident quest, including issues with Bayun’s collar and locked doors.
  • Addressed performance drops and confusing objectives in the Trail of Past Glory quest.
  • Fixed issues such as NPCs getting stuck in the Visions of Truth quest and progress being blocked after dialogues.
  • Fixed stuck cutscenes and blocked progression in Dangerous Visitors, Gray’s Last Hunt, and The Eternal Shining quests.
  • Fixed the spawn behavior of NPCs and enemies in Border and Cage Escape missions.
  • To solve stuck NPCs, misaligned markers, and missing communication options, Down Below, Budmo! and tweaks like A Big Score have been made.
  • And about 120 other topics within the mainline, side quests and encounters.

Open World Experience:

  • Fixed stretched or missing limbs on humanoid corpses.
  • Fixed missing fast travel routes including the Concrete Factory for Mushrooms.
  • Resolved issues with speakers, fast travel, and NPC interactions in various locations such as the Scientists’ Bunker and the Chemical Plant.
  • Adjusted hostile NPC behavior during Arena missions, including bandits’ tactics and increased ammunition for Tyrant combat.
  • Fixed quest progression in Black Sheep and Key to Freedom quests.
  • And about 50 other issues were also fixed.

Player Guidance, Equipment and Weapons:

  • Fixed a bug that allowed items to be sold to the merchant for more money than they actually cost.
  • Fixed login blocking issues with PDA, inventory, and attachments when interacting with structures.
  • Fixed flashlight behavior after save/load.
  • Fixed issues with grenade type selection, overlapping compass markers, and missing mission markers.
  • Fixed inconsistencies in weapon and armor upgrade effects, including pricing and upgrade cancellations.
  • Improved HUD behavior during the Down Down mission and extended the duration of “Point of No Return” hints.
  • Fixed a bug where the player could sell quest items using the controller.
  • And about 50 minor “anomalies”.

Voice and Facial Animations:

  • Restored missing facial animations for Sava in the Hot on the Trail quest and Mugwort in The Eternal Shining quest.
  • Fixed missing voice lines during the Leave No One Unpleasant quest.
  • Fixed radio call effects so NPC voices correctly reflect distance when communicating.
  • And a few more things have been fixed.

World:

  • Fixed flickering textures in various locations including the Sphere, Military Base, and Chemical Plant.
  • Resolved movement issues, including getting stuck in certain locations during missions such as Once More Breach and A Rude Awakening.
  • Fixed artifact spawn points in some areas.
  • Fixed NPC behavior during encounters.
  • Adjusted volume during stormy weather for improved audio stability.
  • And about 50 more mistakes.
