Teenager allegedly stabbed during a fight near Blacktown in Sydney’s west has been taken to hospital

A 16-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed during an incident in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services were called to Pier Street, Prospect, near Blacktown, at around 7.40pm on Friday night following a fight between two groups of young men, The Daily Telegraph reported.

It is believed that the two groups left the scene in separate vehicles before the police arrived.

It was reported that the 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the leg during the fight and was treated at the scene, then taken to hospital for further treatment.

It was learned that the injured were not life-threatening.

Local police officers were told that one of the group of men left the scene in a car, allegedly crashing into two parked cars before fleeing the scene of the accident.

Police are currently investigating the incident and the scene was inspected by police officers who arrived last night.

A neighbor told the publication she heard someone crying for help and also heard calls from another person that someone had been “stabbed.”

“It all happened very quickly. A big explosion and then young people running through the streets. I assume that’s how the stabbing happened,” he said.
