FORT ST. JOHN, BC — Below are Fort St. Included are the most recent sentences handed down by the St. John and Dawson Creek County Courts.

Fort St. John County Court decision, October 21

Ricco Cruz Billyboy (born 1992)

Billyboy will be released on February 19, 2022 at Fort St. He was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle without due care or attention following an incident in St. John. Billyboy was fined $1,000, including a $100 victim surcharge to support victims of a crime. Billyboy was also given an 18-month probation order.

David James Marquis (born 1978)

Marquis to Fort St. on November 30, 2023. He was convicted of hunting and/or trapping on farmland or cleared land for an incident that occurred in St. John. A forfeiture order was issued against the Marquis, allowing the government to seize property and assets “tainted” by crime. . Marquis also received a $2,000 fine and a $100 victim surcharge.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court decision, October 21.

Tara Lee Munro (born 1981):

Munro was convicted of theft of $5,000 or less for an incident that occurred on July 17, 2022, in Dawson Creek. Munro was given a suspended sentence with conditions the defendant must comply with. They were also given a 12-month probation decision.

Ritchie Schwarze (born 1958):

Schwarze was convicted of assault for an incident that occurred on November 12, 2023, in Dawson Creek. Schwarze was ordered to parole and six months probation. Parole means that if a person meets conditions set by a judge, the record will show no conviction.

Curtis Roger Querin (born 1964):

Querin was found guilty of mischief for the incident that occurred in the Pouce Coupe on August 27, 2021. Querin was given a conditional discharge and six-month probation order.
