Man stabbed in Vanier dies

A man is dead following a stabbing in Vanier Monday night, police said.

Police said on social media that emergency crews were called to the 200 block of Ste. Monique St. to a report of a stabbing around 8 p.m.

Medics said the victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but later died from his injuries.

A suspect was arrested, according to police, but no other details were released.

Homicide Squad continues its investigation.
