Man accused of Taylor Swift dance class murders now faces terrorism charges in UK – POLITICO

Crown Prosecution Service announced On Tuesday, Rudakubana was charged with producing a biological toxin (ricin) in contravention of the UK’s Biological Weapons Act.

He is also accused of possessing Al Qaeda’s training manual, contrary to the anti-terrorism law.

He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

“Axel Rudakubana currently faces three charges of murder, 10 charges of attempted murder and a charge of possession of a knife, all relating to the incident in Hart Street, Southport,” said Sarah Hammond, of the CPS.

“The other two offenses relate to evidence obtained by Merseyside Police during searches of the home address of Axel Rudakubana as part of the long and complex investigation following the events of 29 July.”

Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said the killing of three girls in July was not being treated as a terrorist incident. Police and authorities are urging the public not to speculate about the alleged crimes or Rudakubana’s motivations.
