Willis Ayieko: Suspect in Wells Fargo HR Manager Murder Moved to Dandora with New Woman

Okoth was arrested on Monday, October 28, after Ayieko’s body was found on October 23. Siayathree days after he disappeared.

On October 25, Okoth reportedly approached a staff member at the Charity Precinct, introduced himself as a teacher and was looking for a vacant unit.

According to the watchman, the prospective tenant negotiated the rent and initially offered to pay KSh4,000 for the month until November 25.

He finally settled on a total of KSh 5,550 which included rent, water deposit and prorated fee for the remaining days of October.

After securing the rental, Okoth immediately moved in new furniture, including a bed, sofa set, table, television and sound system.

Witnesses stated that there were additional items in the room, including a pair of shoes and a purple briefcase filled with clothes.

When officers raided his apartment, they discovered a woman who locals identified as an employee of a nearby bar.

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss Mohamed Amin announced that Okoth and his partner were detained.

“The suspect was located at the scene of the crime through forensic analysis,” Amin said.

Okoth is being held at Muthaiga Police Station as investigations into the highly publicized case continue.

Ayieko left Nairobi for a funeral in Gem but was ambushed on her way home after the funeral.
