There have been four versions of the Maddock Supernatural Universe so far. It all started with Stree (2018), which was a super hit at the box office. While this will be followed by Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya (2022), Munjya turned out to be a big surprise earlier this year. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor returned with Stree 2 in August 2024 and delivered the biggest Indian blockbuster of all time.

Dinesh Vijan made a big announcement this Diwali. Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar will direct the horror love story Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Navazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal He will appear in supporting roles.

Thama, a horror comedy set against a bloody backdrop, will release in theaters on Diwali 2025.
