Scarlett Johansson She has always been vocal on issues related to gender equality, reproductive rights, and women’s need for control over their own bodies. One notable admission was when the Hollywood big name made headlines at the Women’s March about hypocrisy in the industry.

Scarlett Johansson Calls Out James Franco

At the 2018 Women’s March, Johansson She spoke on issues advocating for women’s rights, racial equality, LGBTQ rights and healthcare reform. In her speech, she called out James Franco and said, “How can one person publicly stand by an organization that helps provide support to victims of sexual assault when it privately preys on people without power?”

He continued his question: “By the way, I want my pin back.” Johansson’s representatives later confirmed that her comments were directed at Franco, the Los Angeles Times reported.

During the Women’s March, Johansson also touched on relationships that negatively affected her. She said: “I had many personal and professional relationships where the power dynamic was so broken that I had to create a narrative that I was the cool girl to hang out with and hang out with, and sometimes that meant compromising what was right for me.”

James Franco’s Sexual Behavior

Franco was accused of sexual harassment by many women after he won the Golden Globe in 2018. Johansson’s alleged allegations come after the actor showed her support for the movement aimed at ending sexual assault and inequality across all industries by wearing a Times Up pin at the ceremony. But several women questioned her connection to Time’s Up, and one of them told the Los Angeles Times about her experience working with the actor.

She said: “I feel like there’s abuse of power, there’s a culture of exploiting women who aren’t famous, and there’s a culture of women being replaceable.”
