Metro Boomin made a statement through his lawyer, rejecting the lawsuit recently filed against him for sexual assault.

“This is purely a trial,” Metro’s attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, told TMZ. “These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and now he refuses to pay. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will seek malicious prosecution when he is eligible.”

A woman named Vanessa LeMaistre alleges that Metro, whose real name is Leland Wayne, raped her in his studio in 2016 after their first date in Las Vegas.

He claims he was “immediately administered a dose of alcohol” during a visit to his studio in Los Angeles. He also swallowed half a Xanax bar, which he had been using to cope with anxiety after the loss of his son, and passed out on the couch.

LaMaistre claimed that when she woke up, she could not move or make a sound because the producer had sexual intercourse with her without her consent. A few weeks later she found out she was pregnant.

LeMaistre also claims that the rapper also mentioned the assault in his 21 Savage song “Rap Saved Me,” released in 2017.

“Xanny took it, then passed out/I came from the gutter, I ain’t changing/Rap from the gutter saved me/It drives me crazy, have my baby.”
