Suspects Related to Murder Arrested

The Bermuda Police Service has confirmed that “two male suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Ethan Arruda.”

A police spokesman said: “Mr. Arruda died following a stab wound to the chest. He reportedly attended a party at a residence in Devonshire Bay Road, Devonshire, where around 100 people had gathered.

“We would like to thank those members of the public who have come forward so far and provided information to assist the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Arruda’s death.

“However, as noted, there were approximately 100 people at the party Mr. Arruda reportedly attended and we continue to appeal for anyone with information to contact Detective Inspector Clifford Roberts by calling 717-0590 or email croberts2@bps. UN.

“We also urge anyone who has recorded video or any other footage of the party in question to please contact us.

“If you feel more comfortable doing this, we encourage you to call independent and confidential Crime Stoppers at 800-8477 or use the BPS community reporting portal at , you can also share the information with a police officer you know.”
