Columbia man accused of sexually assaulting multiple children arrested

A man was detained for allegedly sexually assaulting multiple children between 1988 and 2017.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office arrested 64-year-old Quinndale Fernando Allen of Columbia after multiple victims reported being sexually assaulted as children.

Court documents show the first attack was reported in 1988, when one of the victims was under 10 years old. They claimed Allen touched them inappropriately, stating that on one occasion he “wanted to check if (the victim) was having sex,” according to a probable cause statement.

Many other victims reported that he committed similar crimes against them. Both reporting parties accused Allen of rape.

In his post-Miranda interview with deputies, he addressed the accusations against him and allegedly stated that there was a hole in the floor of the bathroom on the upper floor of a residence that he would look through.

Allen was arrested and charged with First Degree Sexual Abuse and First Degree Child Molestation.

He was sent to Boone County Jail without bail.
