McLennan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy fired after his arrest for allegedly assaulting his wife on Mother’s Day

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – A McLennan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy arrested for assaulting his wife on Mother’s Day has been fired, an affidavit alleges.

Allan Holloway, 37, is charged with assault/domestic violence.

According to an affidavit, on Oct. 22, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Crockett in Hewitt for a verbal disturbance on an open 911 line.

According to the affidavit, the victim at the scene stated that Holloway was her husband and that the incident that night was only verbal.

While officers spoke with Holloway at the scene, authorities were informed the victim made comments during a 911 call about Holloway attacking her on Mother’s Day, the affidavit states.

According to the affidavit, the victim said there were pictures of bruising on her arm from an unreported incident.

The affidavit states that authorities began investigating the incident on-site and then began investigating the incident starting on Mother’s Day.

The affidavit alleges the victim said Holloway grabbed her arm during the Mother’s Day incident, causing pain and bruising.

During the investigation, authorities obtained photographs of the bruises on the victim taken on May 15, 2024.

The affidavit also states that a third party aware of the Mother’s Day incident confirmed the victim’s story.

Holloway was arrested on Monday, October 28.

McLennan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief Cody Blossman said Holloway was fired following his arrest.
