A young man died in an accident involving a scooter and a jeep.

BALTIMORE – A teenager died and another was injured in an accident involving a scooter and a jeep.

Baltimore police said two teenagers were riding a scooter along McCulloh Street in West Baltimore when they collided with the Jeep around 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.

Both were taken to hospital. While one of the young people was determined to have died, it was learned that the other was in good condition.

Police said that the driver of the jeep escaped and an injured passenger remained at the scene.
