Water crews will remain on site until the project is completed and water services are restored. Water quality samples will be taken the next morning and results will be available within 24 to 48 hours, according to the city.

In a separate project, contractors are required to take down 6-inch water mains as part of the roadway reconstruction project on Gilmer Street. Water services will be off for the following addresses starting at 7:30 a.m. Monday with an expected repair time of 5 p.m.:

511, 601, 605 North Gilmer St.

Once all construction is completed, water services will be restored and water quality samples will be taken the next morning.
