‘Agatha All Along’ Twisted Ending Revealed

‘Agatha All Along’ Twisted Ending Revealed

Agatha from start to finish It culminated in a dramatic two-part finale just before Halloween, and its ending cemented Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha as one of the MCU’s greatest villains.

It goes without saying but spoilers ahead for the final Agatha from start to finish.

The Way of the Witches is an Urban Legend

The main plot of the finale is that the Witches’ Lane was completely made up by Agatha and was accidentally made real by Billy (Joe Locke).

This puts the series in a surprisingly bad direction; He reveals that Agatha had been planning to kill her new coven all along, and accompanies her after the Path reveals itself.

This explains why Agatha was so anxious and hapless during the hearings, despite claiming to have walked the Way before, and why she became so angry at Billy when the Way seemed like a closed circle with no end.

Agatha always seems to have a backup plan, schemes within plans; Even the sacrifice she made to save Billy was made knowing he would return as a ghost.

All Dead Witches Killed

The revelation that the path was a ruse from the beginning also paints a more horrifying picture of the many deaths that occur during the adventure; It was all pointless, essentially reduced to most of Agatha’s murders.

Alice (Ali Ahn) died young, not realizing she had been defrauded. Worse still, Agatha did not hesitate to exploit Alice’s powers, even though she could have done so with Billy later.

Lilia (Patti LuPone) willingly sacrificed herself to save the coven, even though it was all in vain.

In hindsight, “Mrs. Hart” (Debra Jo Rupp) is definitely the most tragic story in the MCU; He’s a well-intentioned suburbanite who falls under Wanda’s unfathomable spell, then falls into Agatha’s trap and dies for a cause he never fully understands. Because Agatha never cared to learn her name.

This is not surprising, because over the years we learn that Agatha has disregarded human life, only caring about her own son. Quite refreshing for a hero, Agatha is a true villain who makes Loki look like a saint.

During an extended flashback, Agatha is portrayed as a serial killer involved with Death (Aubrey Plaza), who used her magical slug abilities to murder an extraordinary number of women over the centuries.

One of Agatha’s redeeming qualities is her love for her son Nicholas Scratch, whom she tries to protect from the embrace of Death.

Why Did Agatha Kill All These Witches?

This is left somewhat ambiguous, but it is implied that Agatha bought Nick time by slaughtering the witch covens as an offering to Death.

Agatha and Death also seem to have an agreement that Agatha provides the bodies and Death extends her life. When we first see Plaza’s Death (originally introduced as Rio), Agatha tells him, “You can’t kill me, it’s not allowed.”

In the finale, Death gives another clue to their arrangement by telling Agatha: “No one in history has ever received as special treatment as you.”

After Nick’s inevitable death, Agatha continues her murderous ways and recruits the witches into her plan using the song she once shared with her son. Agatha appears to have embraced nihilism after Nick’s death and only desires more power and a longer life.

In a bittersweet twist, this instills in Agatha a deep fear of encountering her son in the afterlife; she is too ashamed to confront him after everything he has done.

Agatha is definitely one of the most interesting characters in the MCU; He destroyed his relationship with his own son because of his true desire for death.

Funny enough, in the comics, it’s Thanos who’s chasing Death, and the infamous Infinity Gauntlet “snap” stems from Thanos’ desire to impress him.

Who is Nicholas Scratch’s Father?

Although many fans claim that Mephisto (the demon of the Marvel universe) is Nick’s father, the boy does not appear to have a father.

Agatha is a lesbian who says she created her son “from scratch,” so it appears that she created his son, just as Wanda did with her twins. However, Death can be considered Nick’s second mother and may have had a hand in getting him pregnant.

Being Death’s child might also explain why Nick had to be stillborn and why Death was kind to him even when he took him away.

Will There Be a Second Season of ‘Agatha All Along’?

Agatha was a byproduct of it WandaVisionAnd it looks like the story will continue upcoming MCU series Vision MissionIt will see the return of Paul Bettany as Vision.

Agatha from start to finish It ends with said witch agreeing to use herself as Billy’s spirit guide and help the teenager find his missing twin brother.

Billy, whose superhero name is “Wiccan”, has previously displayed extraordinary powers, escaping Death twice and creating the Witch’s Way without even trying.

As Agatha said, the boy looks like his mother; Time will tell whether she will use her powers for the greater good or lose control like Wanda.
