2 arrested in Oshkosh on suspicion of drug possession and outstanding warrants

OSHKOSH – Police on Wednesday arrested a 33-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman who were wanted on a warrant and were also in possession of drugs when they were arrested.

Oshkosh Police Department The arrests occurred after police made contact with the suspects in the 400 block of Sullivan Street based on information they received, a press release said Thursday.

The man was taken into custody on seven outstanding warrants and suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of bail jumping. The statement stated that he has been evading arrest due to arrest warrants since January 2023.

The woman was arrested on three outstanding warrants and suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of over-the-counter prescription pills, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and felony bail jumping.

The names of the suspects were not released and no further information was provided by police.
