Garrett Wilson Makes an Astonishing One-Handed Catch Against the Texans

The New York Jets finally came out on offense in the second half against the Houston Texans. After making five plays, scoring zero points, and watching Aaron Rodgers throw 32 passes in the first half against Houston, they finally put some points on the board in the third quarter.

To do that, the Jets needed to move Garrett Wilson. First, Wilson caught a pass with one hand and ran the ball for the team’s first touchdown of the game. He then made one of the most incredible catches you’ll ever see on the next drive.

Facing third-and-19, Rodgers threw the ball to Wilson in the end zone. The Jets wideout went up and brought it down with one hand. He landed acrobatically on one foot, eventually picking up his shin. He was judged incomplete on the field as he appeared to go out of bounds, but upon review it was confirmed to be one of the worst games ever.

As Al Michaels pointed out, Wilson’s catch was on the same pitch as Odell Beckham Jr.’s iconic one-handed catch. This could have been even better.
