Bensalem Police Arrest Repeat Offender on Juvenile Crimes

Bensalem, PA – Bensalem Police have re-arrested 29-year-old Kevin Nguyen, who was previously incarcerated on child pornography charges. Nguyen was first arrested in 2021, served his sentence, and was released as a registered Tier 1 Sex Offender.

In June, authorities received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The report claimed that an IMVU user sent sexual messages to a 13-year-old girl. Officers traced the messages to Nguyen’s home in Bensalem Township.

During a search of Nguyen’s home on Cricket Lane, he admitted to sending explicit messages on IMVU and communicating with underage women on Discord. Investigators discovered Nguyen engaged in graphic exchanges with a 14-year-old woman on Discord, including discussions of sexual acts and the sharing of sexually explicit images.

Nguyen is charged with multiple crimes, including Illegal Contact with a Minor and Child Sexual Abuse. Nguyen turned himself in Monday, was arraigned and is currently being held in the Bucks County Jail on 10% of $500,000 bail.
