Trump promises big things on Tucker Carlson Live Tour

Speaking for nearly two hours on Halloween, the former president covered a variety of topics, from the Mueller investigation and the 2016 presidential campaign to controversies involving former Bush-Cheney administration member Lewis “Scooter” Libby. Trump also touched on current political issues such as illegal immigration and inflation. The former president also made harsh remarks towards political rivals such as Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney.

One of the first topics Trump discussed in his sit-down interview with the former Fox News host was illegal immigration. Calling this the “biggest problem,” the former president lamented the problems caused by the Biden-Harris administration’s border security policies.

“I think the border is the biggest problem,” Trump said. “I think this is bigger than inflation. “The worst thing that has happened to this country is that millions of people who are criminals are allowed to exist in this country.”

He talked about the large number of criminals who allegedly entered the country illegally. Trump was known for his promise to build a wall on the border in 2016. But this time, Trump says he will implement “mass deportation” of illegal immigrants if elected.

Trump then reflected on his time in office, talking about the investigations against him and claiming they were unfounded and the work of his political rivals. He cited accusations of Russian collusion and the Mueller report, which Trump claimed exonerated him. He made several references to his earlier “enemy from within” comments.

Trump also brought up the pardon of former chief of staff Libby to former Vice President Dick Cheney, who is accused in the investigation of the leak of CIA Director Valerie Plame’s identity. He noted that both Libby and Dick Cheney called to thank Trump for his pardon.

Trump later explained why he disliked Liz Cheney, saying he felt she was a war hawk in Congress during his tenure. He made similar criticisms of former national security adviser John Bolton.

Trump concluded his remarks by saying that the country faces many serious problems and that they will only get worse if Harris wins the election. He emphasized that he was the one who could fix the country.

“We will bring our country back together and make it the greatest country in the world again,” Trump said.
