A driver charged under the Highway Traffic Act for failing to wear license plates told the officer the vehicle had been recently purchased, according to Ottawa police.

The Ottawa Police Service said traffic officers using Automatic License Plate Recognition technology stopped a driver without a license plate in the area of ​​Bank Street and Surrey Boulevard.
