Man accused of blackmailing woman he met on dating site

TRUMANN, Ark. (KAIT) – Police arrested a Paragould man after police say he threatened to send “explicit photos” of a woman to his boss if he didn’t do what he wanted.

Jordan Kevin Castor, 24, is being held in the Poinsett County Detention Center on two charges of sexual extortion.

On Oct. 10, a 27-year-old woman reported to Trumann police that Castor, whom she met on a dating site, had uploaded explicit nude photos of herself to a website.

According to the initial incident report, Castor “threatened to release the photos throughout the workplace ‘because he didn’t do what he wanted.'”

The woman reportedly provided Sgt. Grayson Dye with messages from Castor admitting to posting the photos.

When asked what should be done to remove the photos, Castor reportedly replied, “You know my perversion, do so and I will remove the post.”

“Castor then states that (the victim) wanted to engage in sexual activity with another man and would then allow the woman to delete the photos from her phone and watch as she removed the post from the website,” Dye wrote in the incident report. he said.

On October 16, Assistant Prosecutor Jimmy Turnbow approved an affidavit accusing Castor of sexual extortion, and an arrest warrant was issued for him.

According to the report, Castor surrendered to Trumann police at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 31.
