Ohio Woman Stabbed Her Mother to Death While She Sitting in Her Recliner – Crime Online

A 44-year-old Ohio woman was charged this week with stabbing her 72-year-old mother to death.

Middletown police officers went to the home late Wednesday night and found Minnie Lewis suffering from multiple stab wounds. the police said. The woman was taken to Atrium Medical Center, where she died.

Investigators identified Mekeshia Lattimore as the suspect and arrested her at the scene.

Court records say Lewis is Lattimore’s mother. The Journal-News reported. Documents say Lewis’ son told detectives he “saw Mekeshia on top of the victim while the victim was sitting in the recliner, his hand and arm making a stabbing motion toward the victim.”

The son said he pulled Lattimore off his mother and saw “blood coming from the victim’s neck.” The woman allegedly had stab wounds on her head, face and neck.

Lattimore, who refused to talk to detectives, was charged with murder.
