Man accused of assaulting emergency worker in Sheffield

A man has been charged with assault by beating an emergency worker in Sheffield.

According to South Yorkshire Police, the 24-year-old man was arrested following an incident in the city center on Friday.

He was also charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license or third party insurance, failing to stop when instructed by a computer, and driving without due care and attention.

A force spokesman said he was bailed to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on November 29.
