Noida man arrested for beating and harassing his female friend in housing society – Noida News

A man was arrested in Noida on Saturday for attacking his female friend in a housing estate for unknown reasons.

According to the police, the incident took place at Omaxe Palm Green Society in Dari area of ​​the city following which the accused, identified as Surya Bhadana, was arrested.

A video of the incident went viral on social media; While the defendant was trying to control himself, he was slapping the woman and pulling her hair.

Bhadana also abused the woman before leaving her after intervention from other residents of the housing society.

Taking cognizance of the video, Noida Police arrested Bhadana under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhiata (BNS).

According to the police, the woman and the defendant knew each other and were groupmates at a university. Police said the motive for the attack was unclear.

“A viral video showed a man attacking his female friend at Omaxe Palm Green Society in Thana Dadri area under the jurisdiction of Dadri Police Station. Taking note of the incident, the accused was immediately arrested. The boy and the girl already knew each other. While answering questions about the incident, Noida Police said, “They were together in college with each other We read. “Further legal action is being taken.”

In a similar incident in October this year, a 24-year-old woman was beaten by her live-in partner at a gas station in Ghaziabad. The suspect was arrested by the police after videos of the incident went viral on the internet.

In the security camera footage of the incident, it is seen that the man kicked and punched the woman at the gas station, and the woman fell to the ground crying.
