Hessle stabbing: 14-year-old boy charged with attempted murder of girl | England | News

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after a 13-year-old girl was left in critical condition from multiple stab wounds.

The girl was stabbed in the neck, abdomen, chest and back on the side of a dual carriageway in Hessle, near Hull, on Friday morning, according to Humberside Police.

It was learned that the woman, who had life-threatening injuries, was in serious condition.

According to police, the teenage boy was also charged with possession of a bladed article; He cannot be named for legal reasons.

The 14-year-old was remanded in custody before appearing at Hull magistrates’ court tomorrow (November 4).

Police arrived at the scene and searched the area before arresting six young men on suspicion of murder.

Three boys, aged 15, 16 and 17, and two girls, aged 14 and 15, were found in the nearby woodland. All five have now been released on bail.

Detective Superintendent Simon Vickers of Humberside Police, who is leading the investigation, thanked members of the public who helped the girl before emergency services.

He also said that those arrested in connection with the incident on Saturday were known to the victim.

DS Vickers said: “There was a large presence of crime scene security around the area of ​​woodland on Ferriby High Road as well as the area where the young girl was assisted by members of the public on the A63, Hessle.

“These cordons have now been removed.

“I would like to thank once again the citizens who came to the girl’s aid and also everyone who has called and given us information so far.”
