Geneva woman arrested for trespassing after re-entering Walmart following police warning

A 64-year-old Geneva woman was arrested for trespassing Saturday afternoon after returning to a Walmart store despite being officially banned from doing so, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the Walmart on State Route 5 in Geneva around 4:20 p.m., after store asset protection employees unsuccessfully attempted to have Adrienne A. Hunt, 64, of Genesis Way, formally trespass from the property. Upon arrival, deputies helped serve Hunt with an official trespassing warrant and escorted him from the building.

But shortly after being escorted to the parking lot, Hunt re-entered the store while deputies were still at the scene. He was later taken into custody for trespassing and given an appearance ticket. Hunt is scheduled to appear in Geneva City Court at a later date to answer the charges.

No further information was given by the authorities about the incident.
