Ras Al Khaimah Police, represented by the Criminal Investigation Department of the General Department of Police Operations, managed to arrest an Asian man who had committed a series of vehicle thefts across the emirate in a relatively short period of time.

The perpetrator gained access to vehicles by breaking their windows and hiding behind a mask, presumably to conceal his identity.

Major General Ali Abdullah Bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, praised the alertness of the men of the General Department of Police Operations, which facilitated the rapid capture of the masked perpetrator who stole the contents of the vehicles. The perpetrator was an Asian national in his thirties.

Brigadier General Tariq Mohammed Bin Saif, General Director of Police Operations of Ras Al Khaimah Police, announced that the relevant authorities within the command received numerous reports about an unidentified person wearing a mask who allegedly stole the contents of the vehicle. Windows of numerous vehicles in various locations within the emirate. He also added that many videos and images of stolen vehicles were spread on social media platforms.

He also stated that a competent team from the Criminal Investigation Department was immediately formed and a comprehensive work plan was prepared, thus all the necessary evidence was collected and the search for the perpetrator began until these efforts were concluded and the perpetrator was identified. and recovery of stolen items.

During his interrogation at the police, the defendant admitted that he broke the windows of the vehicles and stole their contents. The file is currently being referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office to complete legal proceedings. In addition, the person responsible for publishing and sharing clips and images of stolen vehicles was also caught and detained. It was also learned that the person in question was referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The public is called upon to refrain from publishing and distributing such materials in order to avoid having a negative impact on the investigation and legal processes and to prevent the perpetrators from taking the necessary measures to prevent their capture.
