Coroner identifies man killed in Kershaw County hunting accident

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – Kershaw County David West has identified a man who died during an assault. hunting accident Off Flat Rock Road.

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Dalton Jordan.

Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound, West said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday at Newberry Medical Center.

The case is currently under investigation by the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
