Adam Leland pleads guilty to two armed robberies at gas station

LELAND, NC (WECT) – A man has pleaded guilty to charges related to two armed robberies at a Circle K.

According to court documents obtained from the District Attorney’s Office, Wyshaun Nath robbed the Circle K at 7806 Ocean Highway East in January and March. Both times, he reportedly concealed his identity with clothing, threatened the same store clerk with a gun, demanded money, and took cash and cigarettes.

Leland detectives were able to link him to the robberies through his phone and location data, as well as a cash app transaction made after the second robbery.

Wyshaun Nath was sentenced to approximately 10-13 years in prison for two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and his habitual offender status.

Nath was previously convicted of two felonies in North Carolina and one felony in New Jersey.

Cherice Coker, who was working at the gas station at the time and was close to Nath, gave statements to police involving Nash. He was charged with felony conspiracy and accessory after the fact, and other charges are pending.
