Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party’s national spokesperson and former Nandurbar MP Heena Gavit has resigned from the party’s primary membership after defying alliance directives by opposing Shiv Sena-Shinde’s Amashya Padvi in ​​Akkalkuwa constituency.

Gavit submitted his resignation to the party leadership after refusing to withdraw his candidacy against Padvi, the official candidate of the Mahayuti alliance.
