Minot Police investigating burglary at Sips

MINOT, ND (KMOT) – Minot Police are investigating a theft reported over the weekend at a popular specialty beverage establishment in southwest Minot.

Investigators said security camera footage showed Sips being broken into early Saturday morning and several hundred dollars worth of cash missing from the safe.

The exact amount of missing money was not disclosed.

Sips posted a photo on Facebook showing the damage to the door. The business said they would accept a hand-written apology and refund the money.

The business will be closed on Tuesday but plans to reopen on Wednesday.

Sips is located just east of Dakota Square Mall.
