Notre Dame offense and Florida State defense

Notre Dame has been performing very well offensively this season. While the passing game was fine, the running game was incredible. Yep, a lot of that running game can be attributed to: Riley Leonard Most of the time he keeps the ball to himself instead of throwing it, but most of the time he gets results. That’s what the Irish need if they want to stay in contention for the College Football Playoff.

As bad as Florida State has been this season, the defense has been bad, but not spectacularly bad. Although his rushing defense didn’t produce great results, it did allow fewer rushing yards than the Irish gained. This suggests that if the Irish are shut out, it wouldn’t be a complete surprise to see their top offensive unit struggle.
