Rochester Man Accused of Burning Police Officer Accused of Sexual Abuse

Rochester, Minnesota (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Man He was accused of assaulting a police officer He is accused in a case of sexual assault on a child last month.

This is according to the criminal complaint Olmsted County Court on Monday.

The alleged assault on the officer occurred Oct. 24 at an apartment building in northwest Rochester during an arrest in connection with a malicious juvenile punishment case.

According to court documents, Fitting is accused of hitting the legs of an 8-year-old girl with a belt loop when she got angry because she didn’t go to bed. He then allegedly burned a police officer’s face with a lit cigarette while he was being arrested.

Investigators learned the young girl was seen at Olmsted Medical Center on Oct. 14 for injuries related to a sexual assault, the court document said.

He was charged with two counts of fabrication. second degree criminal sexual conduct. He was arraigned on the new charges on Monday and is currently being held on unconditional $100,000 bail.
