Abuja victims warn buyers against buying demolished N200 billion land

“We have filed a lawsuit against the FCT Minister and two others in the FCT High Court and served process on the parties involved. “However, the demolition was carried out despite the ongoing litigation,” he said.

“We issue a warning that no Nigerian should purchase the land or any part thereof as doing so would be tantamount to waste of resources.” he added.

Kalu also challenged everyone to investigate his client’s claim of ownership of the land and publish an independent report on the matter.

Nairametrics reported that on October 22, 2024, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, ordered the immediate demolition of illegal structures in the Sabon-Lugbe Southern Regional Layout in the FCT.
