COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Charges against suspended South Carolina forward Ashlyn Watkins have been dismissed, according to online judicial records.

Watkins was Charged with assault and kidnapping on August 31. She has since been suspended from the women’s college basketball team and did not accompany her teammates to the White House in September to be honored by President Biden for their national championship season.

Watkins’ charges were dismissed on Nov. 1, court records showed. No statement has been made yet regarding his suspension.
