LOCK HAVEN — The Annie Gelenbake Ross Library has announced several upcoming events including:

Story Time for Little Explorers (Ages 2-5)

Welcome to Story Time for Little Explorers, a delightful and engaging program designed for children ages 2 to 5, on Tuesdays at 2:30pm in the Gould Room. Join library members for a magical journey filled with stories, songs, bubbles and crafts that will spark your child’s imagination and creativity!

The adventure begins by reading two fascinating stories specially chosen for their charming illustrations and simple yet engaging narratives. These stories are perfect for young minds, encouraging listening skills and a love of reading.

After the storytelling session, it’s musical time! Programmers will present a fun and easy-to-learn song that will get everyone singing and moving. This activity supports language development and rhythm awareness.

What could be more magical than bubbles? This activity will bring out the bubble wands and create a bubble wonderland. Watching and chasing bubbles helps develop your motor skills and hand-eye coordination while having fun!

The final activity will be a simple and fun craft project. Little hands will be busy with the colorful ingredients and create a masterpiece to take home. This activity develops creativity, fine motor skills and a sense of accomplishment.

Come and be a part of this Story Time for Little Explorers! It’s a great opportunity for your child to socialise, learn and play in a supportive and joyful environment. The library looks forward to seeing you and your little one for a morning of fun and discovery.
